Oumaima Arfaoui

As a Mitacs Globalink Research Intern at the University of Alberta, Oumaima, originally from the National Engineering School of Tunisia, is conducting her master's thesis project on the impact of structural uncertainties on CO₂ storage efficiency in deep saline aquifers. Her research focuses on understanding how structural variability affects the performance and reliability of long-term CO₂ sequestration. She is particularly interested in subsurface modeling, reservoir simulation, and the development of robust strategies for effective CO₂ storage.
