Xiaoxue Jiang
Visiting PhD Student
As a PhD student she is focusing on geothermal resource exploration and development. Her research investigates the distribution characteristics and formation mechanisms of geothermal systems to better understand the processes controlling high-temperature geothermal accumulation. She places particular emphasis on analyzing heat flow, lithospheric structure, and reservoir conditions to reveal the factors driving regional geothermal variations. In addition, she works on improving assessment approaches that integrate geological and thermal data to enhance the accuracy of geothermal potential evaluations. Her studies also aim to provide scientific guidance for optimizing development and utilization strategies, ensuring geothermal resources can be harnessed efficiently and sustainably. Through this work, she seeks to contribute to advancing knowledge of geothermal systems and their role in supporting renewable energy development.
