Xuehan Yin

Xuehan is a PhD student majoring in civil engineering. She has a background in geotechnical engineering, rock mechanics, and rock dynamics. In past projects, Xuehan has conducted studies on DEM modeling of heterogeneous lithosomes, the dynamic shear response of water-bearing sandstone, and rate effect on rock mechanical behavior. Her future research interests revolve around developing simulations of subsurface energy developments through the coupling DEM-FEM methods.
