Yixuan Li
PhD Student
As a PhD student in geotechnical engineering, Yixuan has a background in urban underground space engineering, rock mechanics, and shale gas development. In her previous research, she focused on methane deflagration fracturing as a novel waterless fracturing method, investigating its impact on shale micro-structure and permeability, which directly affects shale gas recovery efficiency. Her current research focuses on subsurface modeling, optimization, and data-driven analytics for SAGD, aiming to develop a digital twin, enable production prediction, and optimize steam allocation to support decision-making system, enhance production, and minimize the steam-oil ratio.
